DR. MAN VY NGUYEN
My name is Dr. Mẫn Vy, and my journey to Naturopathic Medicine began with the values instilled in me by my remarkable family. My mother, Mỹ Vân, inspired my love for learning, service, and selflessness – qualities that are essential to being a healer. Immigrating to Oakland, California, from Vietnam at a young age, I embraced the city's spirit of community and education. My path initially led me to Sociology and Education at UC Berkeley, but a deeper calling emerged. I sought a career that combined my passion for teaching, interpersonal connection, and the desire to empower health.
Naturopathic Medicine became the perfect fit. It allows me to be a teacher, guiding patients through their healing process. I utilize my interpersonal skills to connect with diverse individuals and my medical knowledge to address their health concerns. At the core of this practice lies the belief in the body's inherent ability to heal. My role is to support that process and guide you on your journey to optimal health.
My commitment to providing comprehensive care extends beyond my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine. Currently, I'm pursuing a Master of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine to broaden my treatment options and offer you evidence-based, holistic solutions.
I believe in partnership. As your doctor, teacher, and friend, I'm here to support your unique path to well-being.
